I was recently at the Grand Hotel Times Laval, we checked in on Tuesday October 22 2024 and checked out on Saturday October 26 2024 (RM 618). Our check in was very smooth and the front desk clerk Kenny was very professional, pleasant and polite. The room was very clean and modern. I was going to be working from the room during the day so I was glad to have a work station with plenty of USB outlets and sockets. After getting settled and coming back from dinner on the first night we requested additional towels on our way up to our room and Kenny took the time to bring them, this was unexpected and we were very much pleased. Fast forward to Friday after a long work week, we were looking to go into Montreal for dinner and some nightlife fun. On our way out we stopped by the front desk and chatted with Kenny and Fatima. Fatima suggested Weinstein and Gavino for dinner. Fatima that was a great suggestion and thank you once again. The ambiance and the vibe and the food was great. I rarely take the time to write a review because I am a firm believer if you don't have anything good to say don't say anything at all. So when I do write a review I believe in giving credit to where it is do. I would like to thank Kenny and Fatima for being professional, pleasant and polite. The two of you made our stay exceptional. Regards, Neil T. (RM 618)

Very nice hotel. Check-in was smooth and easy. Behzad (apologies if I misspelled his name) was extremely helpful and kind. His excellent customer service is a great asset to the hotel.

Stay at the hotel was great, check in and check out was quick. Location is close to many restaurants and shopping options. Rooms were beautiful and comfortable with a great amount of lighting. Bathroom is large with walk in shower, only downside is that there isn't anywhere to hang your clothes while in there. Didn't get to take part in breakfast but did use the pool. Pool is heated and feels very private. Only downside is that there isn't much parking, you're just about forced to pay for underground parking as a result which is a steep $17 for overnight.

Stayed one night with family. the room is really nice, no complaints at all. no microwave in the room but they do have a little 'dinner' area in the lobby next to the elevator. i enjoyed the stay, though not sure why they do charge for parking $17 per night. i would stay again given opportunities.

Well maintained and clean hotel. Not in the best location but for a good deal, it isn’t too bad to get to Montreal

The cleanliness and design of the hotel was impeccable. Check in process was smooth. Continental breakfast (which we thought was included) only offered cold boiled eggs, bags of bread, yogurt, and cereal for $29 for two ppl! That is absurd. No hot options like scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. As we sat there eating a bagel and a banana, an employee came over to tell us that there would be a charge for breakfast. A hotel of this caliber can certainly do better if the breakfast isn’t even free. Have you checked out the reviews on Booking.com? There are many mentions of the breakfast option. You may use great words to describe the breakfast options but clearly there are many customers who share the same opinion. Perhaps try listing what the breakfast options are and see how many people willingly sign up to have that for $14 each.

One of the nicest hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. Front desk staff were amazing and very accommodating (also funny). The lobby is stunning and a great place to chill / do some work in. The room was super clean and very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!
